Progynova
injection has been reported to cause
an increased risk of breast, uterine, and endometrial cancer (cancer in the
lining of the uterus). For this reason it is essential to have regular
mammograms and checkups. Tell your doctor if you notice any unusual vaginal
bleeding. If this medication is taken along with progestins, it may lower the
risk of uterus cancer. If your uterus has not been removed, your doctor may
prescribe a progestin for you to take while you are using this injection.
